The only splash I use is Thayer's Witch Hazel Toners. Can't take the alcohol burn anymore.
But do use various aftershave milk and aftershave balm products. Of those I really like the C&E Sandalwood and Sienna scents along with SCS Savory Rose and my old standby as long as I can get it. Clubman Complete ASB.

I really like the SCS splashes - Mediterranean Lime, Sandalwood, New Spice, Dagger... The Masters and Pinaud lines are nice too.

I'm a huge fan of the Vi-Jon (Ivy Club, Barbasol) aftershave splashes. They smell great, are cheap as chips...and they're manufactured in St. Louis! __________ Jeff

Love the Brisk. I even use it and Pacific Rush in the winter for a true freeze-your-face experience. __________ Jeff

Got myself some AV Musk a few months ago. I know that it has plenty or alcohol and that I previously stated my dislike for the alcohol but I guess my technique has gotten better over the last few years so I can stand the brief and not so bad alcohol burn now.
What makes it so nice for me is the musk scent. Just reminds me of the barbershop from when I was a kid. I'm open to any other suggestions for musk flavored splashes and edts.

I love the original stuff. ;D The newer plastic bottled Old Spice is close, but no cigar.

I agree. My son has a bottle with the red cap, and it's not bad, but I prefer the stuff in glass bottles.

I am impressed that folks are using vintage scents as well. I would have thought that sitting around all those years would have made it go a little off. I was checking out a bottle of Avon in one of the old bulldog pipe bottles a while ago - from the 70s? - and it leaked a bit of stuff on me. Man oh man!! I stunk like the dickens for quite some time. My poor wife wanted to throw me out of the car it was so intense.
However, I am pumped up by HoosierTroopers (howdy HT!!) post and I will start looking for the older old spice stuff now. I could at least give one a sniff eh? Mind you, I have rarely seen one kicking around the shops I frequent. None the less - onwards!
