Monday shave a day late as usual. I moved the Feather SE from one valet to another. I do not know model number well but I think the one I used yesterday was a Model C. It does not have the cut outs for the valet name.
Valet Auto Strop Model c Feather SE D-2 Generic Boar Colgate Barber shop ( thanks again Justin) WH Aqua Velva Ice Sport/
Great shave. This is my best shaving VAS. Very smooth and comfortable shave. WOOHOO!!!

Hmmmm.. shave quality is dropping off with the Roll's rapidly. I got an excellent shave on Monday after the Sunday rehone to avoid rust detail. However, it has been fading fast and now I have a little irritation on my neck. I wonder if the strop isn't working up to snuff. Time to add some glove oil to the leather.

GEM G-bar TREET blade KMF lavendar and shea Omega badger brush Aqua Velva
First shave with a non Personna/GEM blade and I got to say I'm impressed with the TREET blade. It felt sharper and/or smoother than the Personna. I wiped it on a towel and dipped it in alcohol to make sure it was dry when I was done. I'm curious to see how it does tomorrow or Friday.

Thursday Night:
GEM G-bar razor Treet Super Single Edge blade (carbon steel)
Semogue 1305 boar brush Cella soft shaving soap
Thayer's Peach Witch Hazel (Astringent: 10% alcohol, no -parabens, no burn)
I definitely prefer the Treet and GEM Blue Star carbon steel blades to the PAL carbons. I can't imagine why, with all being made by ASR, but the Treets and Blue Stars seem sharper to me.
