- Prep: Rite Aid Skin Cleansing Cream & Hot Towel
- Brush: The "Ever Roddy" Silvertip Badger
- Cream: SCS Verbena
- Razor: '73 Stick Schick Injector
- Blade: Ted Pella PTFE coated injector (shave 3)
- Oil Pass: Leisureguy's Last-Pass Shave Oil
- A/S: Thayer's Lavender Witch Hazel Toner & Trumper's Sandalwood Skin Food
- EDT: Nine Flags Manzanilla from Spain EDT
- Result: A great BBS shave. Only second shave this week. Between the wife and I we have had the flu off and on all week. Just not feeling like shaving when sick. I am getting to really like the Stick Schick. Love the long handle and the great bloodless shaves I am getting with it. The Skin Food was from a sample I got at Merz Apocathary last time I was in Chicago.

Thursday - soap: Prorasso White
- brush: Semogue 1305
- razor: Valet Autostrop VB2 / Feather SE(2nd day)
- a/s: witch hazel followed by Corn Huskers lotion
Shave was a bit rougher today. Maybe it was because I was shaving 12 hours later than usual. Maybe it was the new soap.... maybe it was the Valet. I dunno... but roughest shave that I have had in a long time.

Thursday Night:
GEM G-Bar single edge razor PAL carbon steel blade
Semogue 730 silvertip brush Art of Shaving, Unscented, shaving soap
Thayer's Lemon Witch Hazel (Astringent: 10% alcohol, no -parabens, no burn)
This was my first PAL blade, and I got two shaves out of it. I like the blued finish, but it didn't seem as sharp and effective as the Treets and Blue Stars.
I used a different shaving soap, however, so maybe I'll try a blade again with Cella and the Semogue 1305.

- Prep: Rite Aid Skin Cleansing Cream & Hot Towel
- Brush: The Dana Brush - Boar
- Soap: TSD Victorian Rose
- Razor: '50 Eversharp-Schick G1 Injector
- Blade: Ted Pella PTFE coated Injector (shave 3)
- Oil Pass: Leisureguy's Last-Pass Shave Oil
- A/S: Thayer's Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner & SCS Savory Rose ASM
- EDT: 4711 After Shave Cologne
- Result: Geesh I love the injectors. Great BBS shave with the G1. Face lathered with TSD soap and got great slick lather. I am actually using the soap sample kinda like a shave stick. Do like the way I get enough soap on my face and then in the brush to do 3 great passes without worrying about the lather being too thin. Got to figure a way to get my Tabac and my MWF into stick form.

Missed Saturday afternoon before work shave due to a malfunction with alarm clock. sooo here is Sunday morning early.
Valet Auto Strop Feather SE D-1 Omega Boar Erasmic SS WH Old Spice
very nice shave. Had some blade alignment issues that I did not see until the end of the shave. Novice mistake that did not seem to hurt the shave. Next shave will be even better.

Sunday - soap: Prairie creations EO Blend
- brush: Semogue LE 2009 #56
- razor: Rolls Razor
- a/s: witch hazel followed by Aqua Velva Ice Blue
My wife got up early and had her shower an hour or so before my shave. Not really a problem right? Unfortunately, I am almost always the first up so I get out my razor etc. and set them up on a shelf in the bathroom before I go to bed so that I don't have to go find my razor of the day in the morning. Here is the problem... my wife took a nice LONG hot shower. Meanwhile I made my coffee and drank the pot and did some other stuff before going to take care of my shower/shave. An hour later and everything in the bathroom was still wet with condensation. Including my Rolls Razor up on the shelf. Rust spots all over it.. Its not my only Rolls blade.. but this is the one that was once Roll's Rolls blade....

I am surprised it would begin to oxidize so quickly - that is not good. I imagine the damage would be very minimal over such a short time - or I would hope so at any rate. I guess you are just going to have to shout at those spots "GET OFF MY LAWN"!!

Sorry to hear that Justin.. hope it cleans up. Fuzzy Yikes!! I am surprised it would begin to oxidize so quickly - that is not good. I imagine the damage would be very minimal over such a short time - or I would hope so at any rate. I guess you are just going to have to shout at those spots "GET OFF MY LAWN"!!I was able to rub most of the spots out between some penetrating oil, pencil eraser, and soft cloth. However, the spots near the edge of the blade I have reduced but haven't removed entirely. I don't want to ruin the edge of the blade. However, as a pair of those spots did extend to the edge, there are was a lot of honing and stropping done on that blade today. Oh well... I will give it a go in the morning and see how it does. I don't think it will be any worse for wear.. just some rust stained spots that I will have to keep an eye on. However, I will have to remember to yell at them and see if it helps any!
