Kevin,
You got an '07 GEM Jr Lather Catcher. I have one too and it is my second favorite SE razor after my Elite GEM Jr. Althought the handle is much shorter than most SE razors the thing is so easy to handle it is unbelieveable. You will get many great shaves with this razor especially if you pair it with a Ted Pella blade.
Happy shaving.

I too am no longer a Lather Catcher virgin!! I can't believe how long it took me to come up with one (damn scottish heritage!) But, I now am the proud owner of a drop dead gorgeous Gem 1908 LC. This morning was my first shave with it and by golly you kidz is right! This design offers a fabulous shaving experience!! It really was great. I love the lather catching ability too - just filling that little puppy up was half the fun! I hardly ever use any DEs now as it is, but, it will be a darn sight longer before they get a chance again! (Although, I picked up one of those fab stainless steel 1925 Darwin double edge art deco razors the other day. I saw it in a pile of crap razors and started to vibrate!! I shall have to try that out soon - but I'm fairly confident it will get a go or two, and then back to the SEs!) Fuzzy - just one more chant for the cause please!!!! ;D
